  Got the pad thai, had really great flavor but the chicken was extremely dry almost like it was reheated and cooked a previous day (had some chewy cartilage too). Also chewed on a small eggshell piece that was in the egg. Thai tea was very good and overall wasnt bad just guess I lucked out on the meat and eggshell. Also called 15 minutes in advance, got there was told 2 more minutes which is fine but it took an additional 20 minutes

  Just got back from Saigon a few days ago and immediately hit the road again for a trip to Little Rock. On the drive back to Houston we were craving Vietnamese food and this was one of the few spots close to our route, so we pulled over. It’s literally a school bus parked next to an empty building in the middle of nowhere. Two guys from Vietnam run the place. Low expectations going in. We ordered banh mi and pot stickers (pan-fried dumplings) to go and asked for spice level 10. Both the flavor and the portion size were genuinely good—better than I expected from a converted school bus in East Texas. The food held up against some of the better places I ate in Saigon. If you’re driving through Lufkin and want solid Vietnamese (or Vietnamese-fusion) food without any pretension, this is worth the stop.

  This place is a total treasure! The food is prepared fresh, and the flavors are spot on with a wonderfully unique signature flavor profile. This is not the first Vietnamese fusion food I’ve had by far, but it is certainly among the best. My wife and I enjoyed everything we ordered and though we don’t live in the area (we are roughly an hour away) I will happily drive here again to eat. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!
