Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Absolutely terrible experience. When we walked in, the restaurant was packed, which obviously isn’t the employees’ fault. I understood that there would be a wait because of how busy it was. However, the experience started going downhill as soon as I reached the register. The lady taking my order was extremely rude and kept trying to end my order after almost every item, even though I clearly wasn’t finished ordering. I placed my order at exactly 1:00, and after waiting 35 minutes, my food finally came out. Again, I understand they were busy, so the wait itself wasn’t my biggest issue. The problem was that the two shakes I ordered were missing. I tried getting the employee’s attention, but she ignored me. When I finally did get her attention and explained that my shakes were missing, she simply said “okay” and brushed me off. Five minutes later, nothing had happened, so my girlfriend had to physically step in front of her just to get her attention about the exact same issue. The employee then had the audacity to roll her eyes, ask what flavors the shakes were, and angrily storm off into the back to make them. When she finally came back, one of the shakes was the wrong size. At that point, I was completely fed up with the attitude of the employees and didn’t even bother bringing it up. I just wanted to eat my food and leave. Being busy is understandable. Having to wait is understandable. But being rude, dismissive, ignoring customers, rolling your eyes, and acting annoyed when asked to fix an issue with an order is completely unacceptable. The way these employees treated customers was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. The store manager seriously needs to address how these employees interact with customers because this was one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve had.

College kids don't know how to keep inside the restaurant nice and clean and clean up after themselves leaving food all over the floor all over the tables other than that it was a good restaurant to eat at. Also not to mention all the trash cans were overflowing with trash

We took some first-time visitors to Texas to Whataburger, and it was disappointing. The burgers were edible, but not what Whataburger advertised, and not impressive for our guests. All of our burger patties were dry, not the juicy/savory they used to be. Something must have changed. Probably won't ever go back.

This whatavurger need to learn a thing or two from 4th street. Everytime i go my gravy is watery, staff are negligent towards customers, my chicken is either bland, overcooked, or burnt. The food is cold everytime I get it. Takes longer than usual to the point I was almost late to work from lunch. Even ordered ahead of time at one point and still wasnt ready when I got there to pick up my order. One day there was a worker mopping the same spot for 20 minutes while talking to coworkers while I was waiting for my food for 30 mins. Overall they need to learn somethings from the whataburger on 4th st or get new staff that actually know how to talk to customers and get food to the customers in a timely manner
