Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CCCarmenJun 18, 20261.0On 6/11/26 on or around 2:23 p.m. through Drive Through ordered 1 double meat whataburger Jr. well done and a senior coke, total cost $5.19 as shown on my receipt. The girl at the drive through had a little bit of an attitude when I asked if I could check my burger and make sure it was well done. It was not well done and I showed her. She took the burger back, rolled her eyes at me and then an older woman came to window and demanded to know what the problem was and again I explained. She was not friendly at all and rudely turned around and got her manager Chase Goodson involved. He again asked what the problem was. He said he had cooked the burger himself and he couldn't find the problem. He had the burger in his hands and again I pointed out that it was not well done. So he smirked and said " I'm going to refund your money. We simply can' t serve you." He refunded me $6 in cash and closed the drive through window. I did tell him I was going to report him and he just waved me off. I did make a report to Whataburger Customer Service. Spoke to Walter. Walter apologized for how I had been treated. He said you simply wanted your burger well done and there should never be a problem with having an order customized at any Whataburger. Walter said someone would be getting back to me. He asked for my phone number and email address. Today is the 17th and no one from Whataburger has tried to contact me. Chase Goodman is not some one you trust to give good professional service.
