Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Or they say I’ll be right with you and tak 5-10 minutes to get to me and I’m the only one in the store and the drive through isn’t even busy. Not sure if they are understaffed, or the employees just don’t care

The girl in the drive thru rang up my order wrong, I didn’t notice until after I got my food so I went inside to get it fixed. The guy up front (who didn’t even have a uniform on) was very helpful but clearly struggling. The guy in the kitchen had a nasty attitude and kept yelling at the guy up front to ring in the stuff I’m missing. (I had no problem paying). He was literally so rude. The team leader in the grey shirt had no idea what was going on, didn’t know who needed what, just looked lost.. not a good experience and I feel sorry for the new people there that were just trying their best.
