  The hostess, Clarissa, was by far one of the most unprofessional and discourteous individuals I have encountered in the food-service industry. She provided my guest and me with our utensils and menus and then proceeded to tell us, “Go outside and find your table.” Naturally, I was confused and asked if this was a new policy, as I have visited this establishment multiple times and have never been instructed to seat myself at a restaurant with my utensils and menu in hand. I then asked to speak with the manager, hoping the situation could be addressed. Unfortunately, the manager was of no help and did not even seem interested in acknowledging or addressing the situation. I truly believe the attitude and behavior of staff often reflect the example set by management, so it was disappointing to see the situation handled this way. Ultimately, we decided to leave because the experience made us feel extremely unwelcome. It was not about being asked to find a table—it was the dismissive and disrespectful manner in which it was communicated. I have previously enjoyed coming to Toasted Yolk, which made this experience even more disappointing. I hope management takes the time to address the customer-service standards at this location, because guests should never leave feeling as though their presence is an inconvenience. Thank you, Toasted Yolk, for the unprofessional and unwelcoming experience.

  Really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service here. The murals are beautiful and the food is super yummy. :)

  Toasted Yolk? More like rotten egg experience. The manager (tall guy with grey hair) was rude to our group today about us requesting seating in the back to keep a stroller out of others' way. Immediately left and went to the Cast Iron Grill which has much nicer service.
