  Not what we expected, missing items and went back up and told the expo and she said are you sure ? Like if we were lying and then found the food she put it with someone else food. Won't be back.

  As a Chicago Native but currently not living there I was like, let me try Portillos while I'm in Lubbock to see if I get a taste of home. But first let's be clear Portillos was never a place i went for food when I lived in Chicago, because it was like the McDonald's of Chicago's best food. I ordered food for 3 people and for myself I got the Chicago dog, the Maxwell street polish and an Italian beef .the Chicago dog was good. As I remember and as I make them at home but the dog itself was missing that snap! But it was vienna beef so you can't go wrong starting there. then the Maxwell street polish..... it was sausage but not the Maxwell street polish I remember! Not to say it was bad but it wasn't the real deal. And finally the Italian beef... not bad but they gave me no gravy for either of my sandwiches not on the meat on the or even dipped! But wait there's more, peppers i got no peppers on one sandwich and the $1.00 peppers on the side i order for the other sandwich was 2 small squares about a 1/3 of a inch wide and 3/4 of an inch long....I'm like this bug cup for what looked like someone's left over scraps. Who hurt you and why are they hoarding peppers!Also one of my orders was a combo with onion rings so I also love fries I asked the lady did I get fries with that order she said no I said my ticket says fries she said no so I paid for more fries and ended up with 2 fries. Portillos club free cake for your birthday i signed up asked about the free cake ok that will be $4 and that's the free slice ok thanks. Most likely won't be back for bad service. And ok food, I was let down Portillos and this was one of the highlights of my trip.

  Was disappointed because I ordered a jumbo cheese sauce in the drive through and it was half spilled in the bag. Food wasn’t as good as when they first opened the beef sandwich I normally get was very bland today. Our family will not be coming back

  I guess it was alright? The beef sandwich was underwhelming given all the hype around it. Beef was kinda dry and the sweet and hot peppers were all just hot. Not much flavor aside from the gravy. Bread was nice and crispy though and you get plenty of beef. 6/10. Almost $4 for a hot dog though? Insane. Not worth it. The chocolate cake shake is fantastic; definitely coming back for it. The place is pricey I will say that.
