Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Definitely the place to go to if you have ALL DAY & NIGHT to sit in the drive thru and wait on your order. weather you order ahead or at the restaurant they take 30 minutes minimum to even bring your drinks to the window after they pull you up and let’s not forget how they rush you while trying to order , im even more concerned because i don’t see a NOW HIRING SIGN when it’s very obvious yall NEED help. We won’t be back .

This location needs more staff. The overnight team is obviously understaffed, overworked, and under paid. Although they work their behinds off you can see the wear and tear in their faces. Your people deserver better. Once they get what they need from the company it should be easier to provide customers with what they need. I dont blame the staff for the 25minute wait for a #2. Im blame management and corporate. In the last 5 years the experience has consistently declined in quality. The only correlation is can see is the LACK of employees. That issue is usually connected to poor payment. No one wants to do what these lovely ladies do for 10-19 dollars and hour. Do better.

The interior looks like a Whataburger and there’s nothing particular you can point at and say ‘this isn’t good’ but when you walk in, it feels oppressive. My wife says “let’s get coffee” I said there’s the national chain we won’t go to - a smaller national chain and an up and coming new chain of coffee shops all right in this area. I say hey - there’s a Whataburger my wife says mmmm-nah. I said hey it’s an affordable cupa and it’s ok coffee. Not today. The kitchen appeared to have like double staff and everyone seemed diligent but everyone’s wait was tragic. There was one effective person running the counter. They were overwhelmed. I order two coffees- $3.00 ea. ok No decaf. Uh-oh. Momma is not excited. And uhm. No they ran out of decaf - not like people drank it all and they are brewing more - they did not have the ability to make decaf- ran out of decaf. So I paid Starbucks prices and got coffee that wasn’t even Whataburger quality. This place is probably at least OK I just caught them at a bad moment. Or … I didn’t. I’ll never know. -_-

Wish I could give ZERO STAS! Braums on Eastman is SOOO much better! They’re cheaper and better quality food! I waited almost 2 HOURS for a jr what burger and my “ milkshake” was WATERED DOWN and nasty. They’re drinks really put the water in waterburger. the bathroom was COVEREDDDD In piss. There was NO toilet paper and absolutely NO soap so I sat there for 30 asking for toilet paper to clean myself. ACCEDENTLY got it on my hand and ofc there was no soap. do better.
