Did the half sandwich and soup. Sandwich was salty and used too much butter/oil on bread to toast. Soup tasty. Fresh fruit was awesome. Staff recommendations appreciated.

Cute place. They have indoor and shaded outdoor seating. They are 3/4 service like Whataburger and McAllister's deli (order and pay, sit and wait). The food was excellent with only two exceptions. Before I get into those, don't be afraid of the house-made pickles, they are not offensive to the rest of the sandwich at all and the cucumber based homemade ranch dressing is light as well. The coffee was weak and The S.O.B. brisket sandwich would have been even better on a chewier baguette like what Jimmy John's is famous for or like the ones @Katies sells in the picture.

My family went Monday for a bday lunch. My mom order a bowl of poblano soup with a side of bread. It was a $14 bowl of soup. It came is a CUP the size of a coffee cup. For $14!! And that was their biggest option. The side of bread was the size of a quarter. LITERALLY, we held it next to a quarter. It was basically just a crouton. Don’t get me wrong I like your food, but if you’re going to be that stingy with your serving sizes, maybe you shouldn’t charge so much. Seriously, is your restaurant doing bad that you can’t afford to give people a piece of bread? My mother even ordered an additional side of bread (which she paid separately for) and it was no bigger than her thumb (I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating, but I’m actually not). Seriously, it made me very embarrassed for your restaurant. If I were the server, I would’ve been embarrassed to serve that to someone.
