Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The hamburger was SO thin I don't know how they made it! It wasn't that busy but took quite a while to get our food and the floors and tables needed cleaning badly. Where's the"manager?"

I came in to pick up food and the employee cake into work to order food and got free fries and a free drink reaching behind the counter and I all I got was a stare because the lady wasn't supposed to be behind the register because she was the cook. Everything is always good here except the service

ordered curbside, got drinks when the order was estimated to be done, but had to call to ask where our food was after waiting for 15 minutes. when we finally got our food, with sad limp warm fries, they brought out more drinks that turned out to all be wrong drinks.

The food quality was VERY poor. My burger patties were super dry and overcooked. All of the fries I received were little nub pieces and they didn’t taste very good. The drinks from the drink fountain didn’t have enough carbonation and were foamy. The shakes were very runny (not thick like at most locations). The employees were friendly and offered a remake order, but the remake was even worse than the original order. I don’t know why Whataburger has been going downhill so badly lately. The employees were very nice and let us park overnight after finding out that we were 32 hours away from home and needed a place to park.
