Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JNJames NicholAug 16, 20263.0use to be a nice place to sit and eat..recently as of this summer of 26’ J many of the tables not cleaned off, has food spots of condiments and particles of the burger/fries/soda...just sloppy of the team..and as I write they look disheveled in their Whataburger apparel but what do I know. They’re all young Z’ers..most don’t know how to dress? Also ,they need to learn how to introduce @ customers..they look like zombies..but bet they can whip that Android/Iphone and work it to dazzle.. ..ok to food..at times it’s not correct as to condiments and burger is just below warm..also fries hard & cool..3rd time…and where the cooking it’s really has way too many ppl in the cooking area..for all the moving..maybe they’re running the 3 min mile?.. to Ice..not that one..the frozen water kind..been here often enough and the ice is not in the dispenser ..when asked they get some else to fill the soda machines with ice, but it talked 10-15 mins..this is a fast food place…well it’s going down fast..appearance and the burgers..back in Winter/Spring of 2026 it wasn’t that way.. this is a Corporate location..yes?? take a peek..I know you can do better..much better..
