- DSDan Sweeney6 days ago1.0Extremely disappointed with the quality and service at this Papa John's. I've worked in the pizza industry for years, so I know what good pizza should look like. Unfortunately, this location is consistently missing the mark. I ordered tonight after a few months away due to previous poor experiences. The first pizza arrived undercooked — the dough was sloppy and falling apart, with unmelted cheese so that toppings slid off in one piece. The remake they sent was the opposite problem: severely overcooked. The crust was so hard I couldn't eat it (I have severe dental issues from a motorcycle accident and only a few teeth left). To make matters worse, I specifically selected and paid for a Papa John's driver on the website. Instead, they sent DoorDash. The cheap, thin delivery bag did a poor job keeping the food hot or intact. When I called to complain, I was told they "don't have real drivers anymore," yet I regularly see Papa John's drivers at other stores? If your franchise doesn't offer that option, it shouldn't be available on the website.The DoorDash driver also left with $47 additional dollars of my money after I told him I didn't want the food and requested a refund. This is unacceptable. For a major chain, this level of quality and service is appalling. Multiple reviews show I'm not alone. The franchise owner needs to make serious improvements — whether that's better training in the kitchen, reliable delivery options, or better customer service — before losing even more business.
