Although this is not my H-E-B I do have to shop here sometimes. I can still save and the staff is really friendly. If you have a problem or you can't find something or sometimes you're tired and frustrated and just can't go find it. The staff is so good about helping you with it, or even finding it and getting it for you.

I had such a great curbside pickup experience at H-E-B today, and I HAVE to shout out Jess because she was genuinely amazing. The meat I originally ordered wasn’t available, so instead of just picking a substitute and calling it a day, Jess brought out two different options so I could choose which one I actually wanted. That alone was so thoughtful. Then she noticed the back of my car is flat and doesn’t really have anything to stop groceries from rolling out. She saw my cantaloupes and watermelon and said she didn’t want them rolling out when I opened the back, so she offered to put them in my back seat instead. And let me tell you, that has literally happened to me before. I have had to chase groceries down the street. 😂 Nobody has ever thought to offer that before. She was also just so warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. We ended up chatting about food for a bit, and she honestly made the whole pickup experience feel less like a transaction and more like a really nice interaction with another human being. It was HOT outside, she absolutely did not have to go above and beyond the way she did, and yet she was still incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. That kind of service makes such a huge difference. Jess deserves all the recognition. Please make sure she knows how appreciated she is, because she genuinely made my day. ❤️

I had a really disappointing experience at H-E-B today. I was using my WIC card, and instead of being treated with kindness and respect, I felt embarrassed and judged. When I got to the register, the cashier accidentally rang up all of my items twice. I politely told her, "No, I'm only getting one of each—what's on the counter is all I'm purchasing." Her response was, "Ugh, okay, now I have to start over," in a very rude and irritated tone. To make matters worse, I ended up being charged incorrectly and am now out $18 because of the mistake. I do not get any of those funds back. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, regardless of how they're paying. WIC is a program that helps families, and no one should be made to feel ashamed for using it. I hope H-E-B addresses this with the employees involved so other customers don't have the same experience. Cashiers name was Cat P.

I genuinely love H‑E‑B — it’s been my favorite grocery store for years, and almost everything about it is great. Unfortunately, I have to give this location a one‑star review because management continues to allow non‑service dogs inside the store. It’s become a constant issue. I regularly see dogs sniffing bread, licking food, and even peeing or pooping in the aisles. These are clearly not trained service animals, as they’re not under control, and it’s extremely unsanitary. It also goes against H‑E‑B’s own policy, yet nothing is ever done about it. I really wish management would address this problem, because it’s unacceptable for a grocery store. Every time I shop here, there are dogs in the store, and it’s gotten to the point where I can’t ignore it anymore. I hope H‑E‑B takes this seriously and enforces their no‑pets policy moving forward.

Love everything else about HEB But CURBSIDE at this store is notoriously slow, plan on waiting at least 45 minutes or longer. They will tell you they are understaffed and that they have someone working on gathering the order but plan to wait an additional 20 minutes even after that. The worst part is once you are here you feel trapped, honestly I just want to get out of my car and walk in to the store to get what I ordered and be done in a fraction of the time, but you can’t, unless there is a way to cancel the order? It seems pretty simple if you are short staffed stop letting people make orders online.
