- LBLindsay BauersachsAug 20, 20261.0What a nightmare. This is my 3rd visit to this location. My family are huge Chipotle fans, and we were really excited for this location. The first visit was great, right when the location had first opened. A few weeks later I went back. Friendly staff, super slow, but not a big line so not a huge deal. Went again this evening. There were at least 40 people waiting in line. I had promised my kids their favorite meals, so I joined the line. Almost 10 minutes waiting and the line hadn’t moved more than 2 feet. Then the icing on the cake…An employee came out and asked everyone that was near the end of the line (about 10-15 folks, including myself) to go wait outside. For context, the current temperature outside is 106 degrees. No thanks, buddy. If you think I’m waiting in line for an hour, half of that outside cooking, just for a bowl of beans, you’re mistaken. If it was a fluke that customers were there at dinner time, sorry y’all weren’t prepared for customers. If dinner time is regularly busy, please consider having a staff in place to handle the flow. You can’t realistically expect to grow your business if you can’t efficiently serve your customers. And yes, I’m aware there are pickup and delivery options. One of the items I order is a bowl with literally only extra black beans and extra cheese. Seems easy but unless we order it in person, I get charged about $13 and get a hamster size portion of beans and cheese. Please, Chipotle in Leander, do better.
