Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Have been coming here a long time. The service people are nice. Gotta have my Whataburger fix 2-3 times a week.

Stopped by here after getting to town at 1/16 pm the Mikc was so low and there was a delivery truck idling near by. When we asked if he could hear us okay his reply was “if hearing is an issue for you come into the lobby because we’re busy”
We looked at one another like wait is he being rude, so Rick Said I’m doing the drive through because I’m tired and already here. The guy replied “whatever, what do you want?” We paused for a minute he said, look just come into the lobby.” Rick said I’m just going to finish my order. The guy said, UUUHjjj, look I don’t know what to tell you just come into the lobby. I don’t know what to say”
He was rude as heck, black guy with a black scarf on his head, beard and was just rude as heck. If this is how this location responds to customers this is sad and a poor excuse for service.. he hid his name tag on purpose and when asked his name said, I’m trying to give service.
All we could see was Anthony M.
This is the worst employee ever!!! If he hates his job so much he needs to go work some place else. Customer should not have to endure this type of horrible service and I will send this to corporate.
To make matters worse he did not get the order right because he was so busy being a smart azz he forgot the entire second order.
Red flag 2 people in the vehicle and you have one order you didn’t bother to ask for clarification. Then the slow manager Susan comes out and says you were not charged for the second order, we know because we he never listened to the order because he was tayovee is the whole time.
My husband walked in a few minutes later and they were talking crap about US loud and said that we need to call Synthia her manager and friend and she would document against us as well.
Pease tell me what kind of BA restaurant is this. Does corporate know???? I’m sure they don’t but why will definitely find out. I have never had service this horrible in my life… This is by far diabolical and a shame and is now Whataburger in Houston (all over the city) does business. These people need more training and neeed to hire others that are NOT friends!! Corporate come here and do hidden cameras of pretend boss because this behavior needs to be stopped immediately!!! Send them to Hoiston to train or replace them all!!

I don’t know if it’s just the night operation but it’s extremely confusing trying to get your food in the drive thru, the cashiers telling you to “pull up” can mean a variety of things, like pull up to the window, pull up to the first yellow line, pull up to the VIP parking section, etc, and if you ask you may not have it explained. Maybe there’s too many people to keep everyone all in the drive thru line but lord is it confusing

We went thru the Drive -thru and got our order but they forgot our shake and told us to park and wait for it. We got our food at 11:06pm. It was 11:31pm and we were STILL WAITING in the stall for the shake!! Almost 30 MINUTES LATER.....For a shake. Smh. Horrible service. They completely forgot about us so we just eventually had to leave. With our food cold as ice. And no shake was ever received. Ridiculous. Get it together.
