Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I've consistently had missing items from my orders because they don't take down the orders correctly then they want to blame me for it like it was my job? The manager there was unreasonably rude about it, like I was the one who trained the employees, avoid the trouble and just go to the one on jacman.

I called my order in ahead of time, showed up, and the team leader, Ethan, tells me he “can’t find it” and immediately tries to put it on me, saying I probably called another location. Instead of actually checking properly or fixing the issue, he tells me to reorder and pay again like it’s nothing. Then—of course—while I’m filling my drinks, Ethan comes back saying they “found” my original order under my name. So now I’m double charged because of his mistake. When I ask for a refund, I’m told it’ll go back to my card, meaning I’m stuck waiting on my own money because they couldn’t do their job right the first time. What made it even worse is that the person in charge was the one creating the problem. On top of that, staff were laughing and acting like the whole situation was funny instead of taking responsibility. No apology, no urgency, nothing. If your team leader is handling customers like this, that says everything about how this place is run. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful from start to finish. Avoid this location.
