Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- EEeunhaglossApr 24, 20265.0I love whataburger and since this one is the closest to me, I always come here. The service is always great and food is always great. I feel that the drive thru needs a bit of work, although I don't know their procedures for the way it's run, it's always full. I've seen people get super impatient but as a service worker I've perfected patient at this point so I don't mind waiting to the side when I go in through the drive thru but it's weird when I order a single combo and a card reader has to be fetched just so I can pay since I'm not at the window. I think they've changed it to a guy going out with an ipad for card paying customers and I've got to say that's really a step up. They've only ever gotten 1 of my burgers wrong and it was through the drive thru which I don't blame them because i didn't check before leaving. I love this restaurant and the food still!
- FFFritzApr 18, 20261.0This place is a hit or miss at this location . Last summer, around August, I had graduated and to celebrate, I went to order a meal after the ceremony. Older looking lady (maybe late 30s-early 40s) with glasses, and likely an assistant manager, was so rude and condescending. Looked at me with pure hatred, don’t understand why. I didn’t even say or do anything wrong, just disgusting attitude. Ruined my special day 😢😞, and only reason I just posted was because I have not forgotten that interaction since. I’ve worked fast food restaurants and I know the stress, but I always treated my customers with kindness and gratitude, even on my bad days. I don’t know why some people have so much hate inside them, like this individual. If I could give negative infinity stars, I would. Wished I would have looked at her name tag to post her here. Also, PLEASE get your drive-thru assistants new headsets or invest in a new speaker, yesterday they were having a hard time getting customer orders. Other than that, food is good. Thanks.
