Lins Gardens Buffet in Laredo has the very typical layout and atmosphere you would expect from an American Chinese buffet restaurant. Nothing particularly stands out, but it delivers the standard buffet experience. The table service was actually better than the service at the cashier, although neither was annoying or problematic. The biggest area for improvement is the food. There was some variety, but not a great selection, and the freshness was questionable. It seemed that fresh food coming directly from the kitchen was limited, with older food sometimes appearing to be placed on top rather than being replaced with a truly fresh batch. Overall, it’s an acceptable place to stop for a meal if you’re in the area and looking for a buffet. I would say it’s worth trying once, but based on my experience, it’s probably not a place I would make a regular destination.

Super good food and great service; I feel like I was eating at a nice sit-down restaurant with the quality of food.
