There is never a dull moment at an HEB. The staff is always top tier friendly. The food is always fresh. You feel like home when you walk into any of the HEB stores anywhere.

We got into a car crash here. We were almost all the way out of the parking stall when the guy parked across from us rammed into our vehicle. His insurance will not help us get new car seats without proof of incident (hit our sliding door so no video, Graco requires new car seats after all accidents and guy admitted fault and said he wasn't paying attention because he was distracted by the guy in the car next to him... He also did not have any side mirror and his car was very beaten up). We even have a police report detailing everything that happened. Our last hope was HEB providing footage (it was right in front of the store... Rare princess parking!) but they cut me off (phone call with customer service) after I said we were in an accident and said absolutely not unless we go to court and get a court order requiring it. They weren't even sorry an accident happened. They just cut me off while I was explaining it, and did not care. No sympathy, no opportunity to speak to a manager and nothing detailing company policies. Just a quick cutoff while I was talking and told me to get my court order. So now I get to be concerned about our car seats being defective ($800 for new car seats) and I will no longer be shopping at HEB. The lack of concern over a situation on their property and uncaring nature overall with the situation made me realize I would rather shop somewhere where the managers/employees are willing to listen (...courteously detail company policies and/show some sympathy and gladness at no injuries... Not be cut off) and I do not have to worry about bad drivers even if I have to spend a little more at Whole Foods, Sprouts or Trader Joes. I just want my kids to be safe and not worry about my shopping experiences. Be careful out there!

I love HEB. But online and the person in store said there were 17 of a specific item I was looking for. Then the grocery manager came by and said yeah it’s a miss count, there’s none in the back. He never even went to look in the back but he was so sure!! I think to “miss count” 17 of an item that’s an issue. Had to drive 25+ minutes to Floresville, they had exactly what I needed.
