Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- EGEsthefanny Garciatoday1.0Ordered ahead of time before going in to work so I wouldn’t be stuck in line. My order was supposed to be ready between 5:04am-5:07. I got here and it’s currently STILL being made. It’s 5:16am and I’m gonna be in a rush for work !! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ please don’t use this location. Wait time is ridiculous. It’s a SALAD too btw. Just a Salad🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

On top of that, the person working at the front counter seemed visibly unhappy to be there and wasn’t very pleasant or welcoming. I understand that places can get busy, but the long wait combined with the poor customer service made for a frustrating experience. Hopefully management can address the wait times and customer service.

A huge shoutout to a team member named Ricardo!—he was incredibly friendly, efficient, and made sure my order was perfect. It’s rare to find such great customer service, and it really made my visit to the La Porte location stand out. Highly recommend!
- JRJoyce RSep 25, 20261.0Don't bother with wataburger. I recieved cold hashbrowns, chicken biscuits weren't prepared as ordered. Had to call them after waiting 10min. At curbside parking. This was 10 min after the time they said to be there. Contacted customer service online said they would credit 500 points, they never did. This was Sept 19th still nothing. To many other fast food restaurants in this 1/2 mile area.
