Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JGJuan GarciaAug 26, 20261.0This whataburger is by far the worse I have been to when it comes to wait time. I watched 7 cars order after and get their food before me. These lines are not ran consistently. Stay out of the outside lane if you do come here or be ready to wait a long time!

Even during late-night rushes, the team keeps things moving and stays professional. It's become one of my go-to Whataburger locations because I know I can count on a good meal and good service.

I went to the restroom and came out to get an ice cold coke (it's my weakness). My husband was in line and waiting behind ONE person. We waited and waited and the cashier said they've had a long week (it's barely Monday), then proceeded to walk away to the back. I told my husband we could've already gone thru the drive thru and I asked if he was ready. He said yes and we got in our truck and he pulled behind a car. The other lane was open and I asked why would he get behind someone else, so he pulled to the open lane saying it was going to take long anyways. I'm always optimistic and just new someone else would take our order. The worker said I'll be right with you, and we waited and waited. We were on our way to the reception and I asked if he just wanted to leave and go there. I won't tell you exactly what he said but he wasn't happy. When we took the curve to drive out, both lanes were blocked with a car in each, waiting. He reversed and we were on our merry way. All we wanted was an ice cold drink because the heat was getting the best of us and some hot fries. We got neither. 2 stars because I appreciated using the restroom.
