Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CHCharlie HMay 12, 20265.0I forgot how good whataburger is. The staff were so nice. Im an out of state visitor to TX from CA. Burger patties are decent size and cooked perfectly. Fries are good. Always consistent. Prices are much cheaper than 5 guys shake shack etc. About the same price as in n out.
- JJJacobApr 25, 20261.0I’ve given Whataburger multiple chances, and unfortunately it’s consistently disappointing. The food is often cold by the time it’s served, the service is slow and unfriendly, and my order is rarely correct the first time. On top of that, the overall atmosphere just isn’t welcoming. This location seriously needs to improve its quality control and customer service and learn to work and not be in the back office while customers are waiting at the counter to get their food.

The last time I went to the counter, they had left it sitting under the counter. Half the kitchen staff were scrambling trying to get orders made and help customers and the other half, at least four employees, were just hanging out, standing around.
