- DRDeborah ReeseSep 10, 20265.0Blanca the deli manager at the La Grange location created and executed my vision for Charcuterie boards, fruit and vegetable platters for my God-daughters wedding reception that was held on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at The Ice Plant. I needed the boards to look elevated for this momentus occasion, and to accommodate the 130 guests. Blanca and I had multiple phone conversations and texts, she understood my vision for the guests enjoyment, some had dietary restrictions and allergies. Blanca explained that she would need to get extra items from another store being her location wouldn't have everything required to fill the order. On the day that I was to pick up my order, Blanca warmly greeted me and helped me to the register, she gifted me a "Try one on us" platter! I can't tell you how impressed I was with Blanca and her staff! I was so busy at that day that unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the trays at the site. Everyone enjoyed the hummus, cheeses dried fruit, nuts and various cured meats with fig jam. I work as a manager in South Florida, its a hard job so I recognize amazing talent, so La Grange you are fortunate to have this consummate professional! I would recommend HEB, especially Blanca and her staff at the deli, again and again!

- MSMatilda SelveraAug 11, 20261.0This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. Even when you prepay, picking up a prescription is still a hassle. One pharmacist tells you one thing, and the next tells you something completely different.Most recently, I picked up a prescription and the prescription bottle itself was not properly closed. When I opened the brown pharmacy bag at home, the medication spilled out onto my bathroom floor. After picking everything up, I realized I could not account for the full quantity listed on my prescription.I’ve never had something like this happen, and it seems like a serious safety concern. Had this happened to an elderly person who depends on every dose of their medication, they may not have realized pills were missing from the bottle or still somewhere inside the bag. Between the inconsistent information from staff and now receiving a prescription bottle that was not properly secured, the entire experience has been extremely off-putting and concerning.
