I frequent this McDonald’s almost weekly, but I’ve reached the point where I will no longer be coming back. I would rather drive farther out of my way to another location than continue dealing with the customer service I’ve experienced here, particularly because of one employee/manager—or whatever her position is.
On Friday at approximately 2:52 a.m., the drive-thru was extremely busy and moving at a snail’s pace. While customers were waiting, this employee, who I can only describe as a Mexican woman with heavy makeup, dramatic lashes, and tattoos covering both forearms, apparently decided that this was the perfect time to sweep the floor. Mind you, no one was even working the drive-thru window.
I’m not sure what the thought process was there, but prioritizing sweeping over getting a backed-up drive-thru moving is certainly an interesting management decision.
From my repeated experiences with this employee, she appears to have zero social skills, does not seem to be a team player, and has consistently given me the impression that customer service is the last thing on her mind. If she is, in fact, a manager, I honestly question whether she possesses the leadership and management skills necessary to effectively run a team and prioritize customers.
I understand that employees have multiple responsibilities, but when the drive-thru is backed up and customers are waiting, basic priorities should come first. This was not an isolated frustrating experience for me, which is why I’ve decided I would rather take my business somewhere else.
I hope management takes this complaint seriously and reviews what happened around 2:52 a.m. on Friday.

Typically have a good experience at this location. Especially at breakfast and lunch. Attempted order pick-up tonight and the shift manager Maria was RIDICULOUSLY unprofessional. I waited in drive-up for 20+ minutes and then the app notified me I had already received my food when I hadn’t. I went inside to rectify the situation and shift manager Maria was rude, unhelpful, and is the type of employee who runs a business and its culture into the ground. My wife left a review with the corporate side and we plan to follow up with the General Manager tomorrow. I worked fast food (McDonalds and Wendy’s) in High School and college and was also a shift manager. I know this is not the behavior and etiquette that is allowed by managers. Do better.

We have always had great experiences at this McDonald’s in the past, which is why tonight was especially disappointing.
Tonight was our son’s 8th birthday, and McDonald’s was what he requested for dinner. Our entire family has also been sick with COVID, with the exception of my husband, so we intentionally placed a pickup order at 7:58 PM and selected parking spot #2 so my husband could pick it up without unnecessary face-to-face contact with employees.
My husband arrived at approximately 8:05 PM. We completely understood that the order wouldn’t be ready immediately, so he waited patiently. However, after more than 30 minutes, no one had brought the order out. He eventually went inside and spoke with the shift manager, Maria.
Maria told him that she could not find the order and then insisted that the order apparently had never been placed and that she needed to see the receipt. I immediately sent my husband the receipt from our app, but she continued saying she could not find it.
A few minutes later, my husband noticed our order sitting behind the counter and asked if that was his order. Maria then said, essentially, “Oh, yes. I made that order a long time ago.” This was incredibly frustrating because she had just told him that she couldn’t find the order and acted as though it had never been placed.
At that point, they checked the temperature of the food, and it was either cold or barely warm. The food was soggy and clearly had not been sitting in an acceptable condition. My husband asked them to remake the order, which they agreed to do. He returned to his vehicle and waited in spot #2.
Another 30 minutes passed, and the remade food still had not been brought out. He eventually had to go inside again to find out what was happening. They finally remade the food, but refused to remake the drinks, despite the fact that they had now been sitting for approximately an hour and were completely watered down.
At this point, my husband asked to speak with Maria again and simply asked what they were going to do to rectify the situation. After roughly an hour of waiting, there was still no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation. Maria ultimately told him that the corporate number was on the receipt and that we could contact the GM the following morning.
This was an incredibly frustrating experience, especially on our son’s birthday. We understand that restaurants get busy and that mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication, the contradictory information, the excessive wait time, and the complete lack of ownership when the mistake was discovered.
We specifically chose this location because we’ve had great food quality and customer service here in the past. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience left a very bad taste in our mouths, especially when all we were trying to do was pick up a simple birthday dinner for our child while our family is sick.
I sincerely hope management reviews what happened tonight and addresses the customer service issues, because this is not the experience we have come to expect from this location.
Update: When my husband returned with the food, we immediately noticed that our fries were less than half full. I had to go back to McDonald's and insist that Maria remake them. I've never encountered such an unprofessional shift manager, completely lacking accountability and not even in uniform.
2nd update: Apparently, Maria is now claiming that we harassed her and wants us to be trespassed. The customer support at this store is absolutely astonishing. I hope management does better at this store!
horrible customer service. I went through the drive thru had two separate orders person at the speaker already had an attitude and got my order wrong. I pull up to the second window and that little girl working it so rude while the manager was next to her do better as a manager please! I then asked if there was ranch in the bag and got ignored then left realizing they forgot two meals how are you going to be rude and get my order wrong 😂. went back inside to get them horrible customer service same girl with that nasty lil attitude handed me them and said “here you go” with more attitude. please if you can’t handle or don’t have good customer service stay home or at school, as a person whos worked in busy fast food its not hard, do better, its not cute to act ugly. very unorganized and unwelcoming atmosphere do better so many more ways to push service other than ignoring, forgetting meals, and having a ugly attitude.

Employees don't have any respect for their customers. I sometimes participate in collecting the collectibles and I go to many McDonald's to do so and I have never encountered employees that act the way they do at this location. First they force you to buy the Happy meal despite there being an option to buy the toy without the meal and then when I get duplicates other places offer to exchange it since I just bought it but this place looked me straight into my eyes and said no you have to buy another happy meal. I get having rules so everyone can get one and I'm not trying to be greedy but the employees are locking down the toys like if they made them themselves and then on top of that they have such an attitude when I'm not even being aggressive to begin with. At one point I was explaining to a worker that it wasn't a random box they show the pictures on the side which show which toy it is (I had asked him what toy was being distributed that day so I could decide whether to buy it or not) and the person looked at me like I was speaking an alien language and continued to disregard what I was saying and just kept repeating the same sentence over and over until I gave up and he just took off. If we are paying for the toy I don't see the need to be so mean and uncompromising they care more about the toys than they do about getting orders right or making sure the place is clean.
