Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The horrible presentation of the food and a lack of quality ingredients made for an upsetting and frankly dissatisfied experience. Why does my bun need to look like its been smashed by the hulk so hard the condiments come out the sides, when looking upon the pathetic wilted lettuce (that completely covered the meat making sure I knew how little of a chicken patty I was going to be receiving) I thought please dont let this be any worse, then the patty....oh man the poor dry little patty. Whatever chicken died for this sandwich was unfortunately in vain because their tiny little breast was mutilated and drier than the Sahara and what little meat I could try and bite into was like bitting into fried cardboard, the bite never made it past my mouth. Was this the worst food expirence I've had? No. Was it so bad that I wont be returning back to this location? Absolutely!
