  Today, the charge for the food I ordered through the app—food they refused to give me—has officially posted, and I’m extremely frustrated with how this was handled. I’ve been to several McDonald’s locations because I love their steak egg McMuffin, but the Kingwood location is the only one that has ever refused to honor a mobile order. I showed them the receipt in the app and even my credit card charge as proof the transaction went through. They had already prepared the sandwich, yet still refused to give it to me. There was no resolution. The manager told me the charge wouldn’t go through or would be refunded within 24 hours because, on their end, the order wasn’t marked complete—which doesn’t make sense if the food was already made. At this point, it feels like this location is charging customers, preparing orders, and then refusing to hand them over.

  Ordered on the app. Paid for it. 20 minutes later the food was ready and I tried to get it. They said I can’t get it because it’s “staging”. I offered to cancel the online order and pay at the store but they said they couldn’t do that because it’s “staging”.

  I ordered through the app and had a receipt number, with instructions to pick it up inside or via the drive-thru. But when I got there, they refused to give me the order they had already prepared because their system showed it as “staged.” The employee kept blaming me for not entering a table number—even though I’ve never had to do that before since I always use the drive-thru. I was already charged, and instead of offering a real solution, they just told me I wouldn’t be getting my order and that I’d be refunded. I’m not even confident the refund will go through. Checking my card and the app, the charge is there and the order shows as completed, which makes the whole situation even more frustrating. I’ve never had this much trouble just trying to pick up food from any location.

  When the managers properly train the cashiers on how to charge customers for a hot n' spicy patty "PATTY" which costs $1. NOT $5.50!!! Really disgusts me. Cause apparently only the General Manager and Day Manager at this establishment knows how to do this while other employees look at the customers in a dumb founded manner.

  I normally avoid McDonalds like the plague because my experiences are usually bad. This place was very nice on the inside and clean. The staff was excellent and the food was good.
