- MVmichael villarreal1 day ago3.0I really liked this HEB when I first moved here, but recently it really feels like it’s gone down. The prices are about the same as every grocery store in the area so it doesn’t really set itself apart. The main issues I have are that 1. They run out of stock of many normal grocery items a lot and especially if they’re on sale. I understand supply shortages and ordering issues, but I’ve been there some days and they’re out of products at 11am. The other things HEB doesn’t have much control over but the people are rude. Cutting you off, getting in front of you, waiting angrily while you’re looking for something, and there’s times the employees do this as well. It’s just not worth the hype anymore since like 2015 when everyone dubbed HEB, Buc-ee’s, and whataburger the Texas staples and all three of them just stopped trying to be quality after that.
