It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun.     Lowest rating available. Will not go here again , ever. Chicken strips were hard and cold first off, then exchanged for a justaburger ( no cheese) to get WHAT a burger with cheese. Absolutely horrible here. It will not be recommended to anyone , way to many other not as bad options to choose from in the same area.

    Every time I’ve been to this location, everyone is so nice and helpful! Went tonight and had my food within 8 minutes of ordering (burger, rings, shake) the food was hot and fresh, shake was great!

    I came to this Whataburger location at around 1:30 to 2 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2026. My experience was terrible. I went there with my spouse. We ordered through the kiosk which wasn’t a problem. Nobody was at the register. It took roughly 20 minutes or so for us to get our food which again wasn’t a problem when my spouse received his food, the fries were cold and so he took them back up to the front to get new fries that took over 40 minutes I would also like to preference that I am eight months pregnant so I began to eat my food after a few bites. I realized that my burger was raw in the middle to which my spouse was still waiting for his fries. Mind you we asked for spicy ketchup and they never brought the ketchup even while he was waiting. He never got the ketchup at this time of night or morning whichever you prefer they were not busy at all. They may be had one or two cars in the driveway the whole time we were waiting and they had a DoorDash or pick up an order. And an another customer placed order once I realized that my burger was raw in the middle and he was still waiting for his fries. I took everything up to the front for us to go ahead and get a refund once I realized that my burger was raw in the middle and he was still waiting for his fries. I did also throw up in the bathroom before we left due to the raw meat.
