- YVYadiel Vega1 day ago5.0I want to take a moment to recognize an amazing H-E-B employee who went above and beyond to help me during a stressful moment. On 10/13/2026 in the afternoon, my car broke down as I was pulling into the parking lot, and despite trying to start it several times, nothing happened. The security guard on duty, a Hispanic gentleman who appeared to be in his mid-30s, didn’t hesitate for a second to step in and help. He directed traffic around my vehicle while I tried to get it started and patiently gave me a few minutes to see if I could resolve the issue. When he realized my car wasn’t going to start and noticed that I had a fractured foot and couldn’t push it myself, he immediately told me to get back inside the car and offered to push it into a parking spot for me. I cannot express how much I appreciated his kindness and willingness to help. In a moment when I was frustrated, stressed, and unsure of what to do, he made me feel reassured, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. His actions went far beyond what anyone could have expected, and he helped turn a difficult situation into a much more manageable one. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to this gentleman for showing such compassion, patience, and kindness. I truly hope his efforts are recognized because people like him make a real difference in their communities. H-E-B, you really do have some wonderful employees who go out of their way to help others. This gentleman is a perfect example of that. Thank you for having people like him on your team!

- TWTravis WhiteSep 15, 20265.0Great selections from as many local sources as possible. Staff is always helpful. They do carry a selection of harder to find fruits. They make in house fresh bread and tortillas that are very tasty. HEB is by far the best grocery store I have shopped at in 6 states.
