  Seafood appetizer was fantastic. Steak was good ribs had some rock hard charcoal on top but tasted good. Service was good, they were very busy the night we visited.

  My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary but unfortunately we had to go out and look for another place to have dinner. The waiter was unpleasant with us. We ordered an appetizer which he never brought us and when we ordered our food he only took 1 order(we ordered two of the same) It was disappointing because we had an hour waiting for our food to finally have to go somewhere else. I will definitely never come back.

  Had an amazing experience at Saltgrass in Kemah! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, down-to-earth, and full of that genuine Southern hospitality you don’t always find anymore. The food was outstanding — steaks, apps, drinks, all on point. And the waterfront seating? Absolutely beautiful. There’s nothing like a great meal with a view to match. But what really made the night was our servers, Brandon and Christina, along with the entire support staff who kept our drinks flowing and made sure we were taken care of all night. Some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. If you’re in the Kemah area and want great food, stunning views, and an even better vibe, this is your spot. Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic night!

  We celebrated Father's Day there with a party of 9. The service was excellent, Cash, our waiter was on it. Whatever we needed he did not take him long to respond. The restaurant as expected was incredibly busy, but it didn't stop them from providing excellent service. Kudos to them for doing such a wonderful job!

  We just ate here while visiting from New Mexico, and I have to say the service was absolutely outstanding. Everyone has been so friendly, but our server Christian was truly exceptional. I don't know if this restaurant trains its staff this well or if he's just an amazing person, but he made our experience unforgettable. He was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond. He seriously deserves a raise! The hostess working the evening of 6/8/2026 was also amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she accommodated our group so well. We didn't even have to ask for certain things—she anticipated our needs and offered help before we could. That level of customer service is rare and so appreciated. She deserves a raise too! The food was delicious, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. We didn't sit on the ocean view side, but they do offer ocean view seating, which looked absolutely gorgeous. Honestly, Christian and the hostess are the main reasons I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars. They made us feel welcomed and valued from the moment we walked in. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!
