This store always has bad service but tonight was ridiculous. Honestly sat at the drive thru for close to 5 minutes, two cars behind me actually got out of line, and no one took my order. Went to the window and had to place the order. When the bag was handed to me the smell I knew it was going to be bad, yep, onion rings so crisp you couldn’t eat them. I just don’t understand why service has to be so poor.

I see others are complaining about the same thing I come to complain about.
About 6 months ago an employee wanted to argue with me about sauce and how it’s not included with meal. Even tho website and menu show sauce next to item.
Wasn’t a big deal at the time. But I come here almost every day except for weekends. And some weekends I come to this location over the one that is close to me. Because staff is great and very rarely have I had a messed up order.
Let me also state I have spent up to $300 a month if not more at this location.
Now if you want any sauce you have to pay 25 cents a cup. Even Sonic Corporation agreed once sauce should at last be included.
I understand not just giving out all your sauce but let’s be reasonable. Making Sonic or Franchise owner look real greedy vs protecting cost from sauce packets.
I’ve been coming here for over a year. Things like this will push me away. Especially when I’m a loyal customer and prob come here more than most people.
So you add up that an employee that argued with me one day to now having to pay for every sauce package. I’m here sharing my opinion on the matter.
Hope to see changes. I will be taking my daily lunch elsewhere for the time being. May give them another shot one day.

I’ve been to this Sonic location on Golden Triangle Blvd many times, and up until tonight I’ve always had great experiences. Unfortunately, what happened tonight completely changed my opinion.
I placed a DoorDash order for delivery to my house, and about 35 minutes later my Dasher called to tell me that Sonic said my order had already been picked up and delivered. The Dasher went back through the drive-thru so I could speak with the employee, and to my surprise, the employee working the drive-thru started yelling and using profanity at the Dasher over the speaker. The Dasher was simply trying to do their job and resolve an issue that wasn’t their fault.
As someone who works in customer service, I was shocked by the way the situation was handled. Hearing an employee scream and curse at someone over the drive-thru speaker is completely unacceptable. It made me question whether I’d even feel comfortable returning to this location by myself or with my family.
Whoever was working the drive-thru on the night of July 19, 2026, at around 10:40 p.m. needs additional training on professionalism, customer service and general respect concepts. If someone on one of my teams spoke to a guest that way, they would be terminated.
It’s disappointing because this location has always been one of my favorites. I hope management takes this seriously so future customers—and delivery drivers—are treated with the respect they deserve.
My experience with the manager was horrible she was very rude ignorant and dismissive. Legit yelled at me through the microphone like I was irritating her once I asked for someone different to speak to she yelled at me again that she’s the manger and that was crazy because it was like a yeah what about it moment for her the night shift manager with the piercings in her face definitely needs some talking to !

I’ve never been to a sonic where you have to buy barbecue sauce to go with the chicken bites that you order. We were told “nothing comes with sauce anymore, you have to pay for it if it’s not ketchup or mustard.” Which is crazy because when I order from the app it includes the bbq sauce, or whichever sauce you pick for free. It also doesn’t make it better when the person taking your order is rude.
