Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DCDevin Cox5 days ago5.0Stopped by Whataburger during my lunch break and had an issue with my order, but manager Bemabji handled it quickly and professionally. He showed excellent managerial skills, stayed calm under pressure, and made sure everything was corrected without any hassle. You can tell he genuinely cares about customer service and keeping things running smoothly. The staff at this location also deserves recognition for being respectful, hardworking, and efficient even during a busy rush. It’s refreshing to see a team that works well together and a manager who leads by example. Definitely one of the better Whataburger experiences I’ve had. 10/10 will make this my goto location and dine again!

Fries are consistently lukewarm and soggy, even when asking for extra crispy—which is basically ignored every time. The burger is never actually hot and often tastes old, like it’s been sitting around. Definitely not what this place used to be.

I was charged 5.49 for a whole burger, 2.05 per meat patty and .60 for the cheese. I fully expected to pay 4.70 for my order. Not anymore extra 5.49 for the additional burger. When my wife brought it to their attention, they gave her 2.05 back. Seriously?
