Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DYDavid YJun 22, 20263.0Nice and clean on the outside. Great location. Several problems. They have the newer 2 lane model (inside and outside) that many Whataburgers now have. The outside line is for online orders only. The way the parking lot is set up, you are turning into the lanes and the sign isn't entirely clear that it is online only. They have speakers in both lanes but the outside lane had a broken screen. I sat there for a couple of minutes only to get someone that said they couldn't take an order at that location. I had to drive around the restaurant to get in the inside lane for them to take my order. The food took a long time to receive, but it was definitely fresh and good. I did suggest that they needed to make the signage more clear and I got an attitude from the worker at the drive-thru especially with the broken kiosk. On my visit a week ago, they had a younger worker outside taking orders in the heat with no line which seemed a little strange. This worker got our orders messed up quite a bit which has rarely happened at a Whataburger and she was standing right there talking to me. Food - Fresh and good. Service leaves a lot to be desired. I will not go out of my way to go to this location again.
