Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JMJohnson's Pro-Tech & MaintenanceApr 17, 20261.0So I signed up with the Whataburger app for the first time and my experience was awful I placed an online order and come to find out the manager is taking orders at the register I walked in and I waited patiently at the online pickup section where I can continue to wait as 4 to 5 more orders were being taken in while I stood there just waiting on my food while it sat and got cold. I also addressed this issue very calmly and politely and everyone just brushed it off as if customer service isn't a thing. The manager was a black young lady who looked over her shoulders as if she had an attitude already from being overwhelmed from all of the customers which is neither here or there your customer service did not show exactly how you made it to manager everyone has bad days but you can't let that defeat you when you're working around someone's food and they're simply just waiting on their order they already paid for while you continue to take in new orders while acting overwhelmed by what you already have going on it just doesn't make sense. What really was going on was the young lady was upset because she had to be taking orders as a manager and taking it out on the customers. People complain about their jobs but this is the reason why robots are taking over a lot of these jobs because the people have no care for the customer service system anymore
