  We were in town from Minneapolis and had heard of this place and knew we had to try it. Everything was incredible. We started with the herbal tea (add the sugar - it brings out the flavor) and Samsa. We had ordered many dishes to share and they just kept coming! Our favorites were the Korma Chop, Tawa Kabab (huge platter - sauce was so flavorful) and Tugur Dumplings. Our server was lovely and everything came out quickly, sizzling hot and very well spiced. Not too spicy for a wimpy white lady like me, though there were options to spice it up if you prefer that. Our 10 and 13 year old loved it too. Plus there’s more plain options (fried rice, udon noodles) if you have a less adventurous eater.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars Absolutely amazing food and excellent service! Turan Uyghur Kitchen serves truly authentic, delicious, and incredibly flavorful dishes. Their Lagman is hands down the #1 best Lagman in the USA! Everything tastes fresh and is prepared with care. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and provides outstanding service. We had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for authentic Uyghur cuisine!

  Such a scam. Why you need to put the deals when you can't honor it. The deal said 13.99$ for a spring roll, spice chicken, hot and sour soup and beef fried rice. What I received, garbage orange chicken, extremely sweet like you are eating sugar coated plastic, regular fried rice with only few fragments of eggs no veggies and absolute no BEEF. And for the soup flavorless, meatless and few pieces of mushrooms liquid. Such a shame. I hope you are having fun scamming people and stealing their hard earned money in the name of SPECIAL MEAL BOX.

  I’ve been looking for a place in Katy where I can enjoy halal Chinese food, and I’m so glad I found this restaurant! They serve delicious Uyghur cuisine, a blend of Chinese and Central Asian flavors. The food, tea, and dessert were delicious, and the atmosphere was clean, calm, and relaxing. We’ll definitely be back!

  I loved Turan Uyghur Kitchen’s Houston location, so their Katy location had been on my list for a while. I finally got the chance to go, and the food was just as good as I remembered! If you’re new to Uyghur food, the menu has a mix of Central Asian, Middle Eastern, and Chinese influences. It’s a completely halal spot with dishes that go well beyond the usual Chinese restaurant menu. We started with beef dumplings, fried crab meat wontons, and hot and sour soup. The dumplings were my favorite of the starters, especially with the chili sauce. It was packed with flavor and brought a real kick! The crispy wontons were fun to share, and the soup was a comforting way to start the meal. For our mains, we had fried naan with beef and chili laghman with chicken. The beef was the standout for me—perfectly juicy and tender, and so good with the fried naan. The chili laghman made the meal feel even more like the Uyghur food I’d been looking forward to. Everything we ordered hit the spot. I’m glad I finally made it to the Katy location, and I’d happily go back to try more of the menu! 🥟🌶️
