  love this place! been visiting katy a lot for work and have been usually going to katy asian town but was craving uyghur food and this place hit the spot. worth the short drive away! had the korma plate and the lamb laghman and lamb skewers. everything was very flavourful and fresh. especially loved the korma plate. service was also friendly and quick. I will be back whenever I visit to check out more dishes.

  We’ve been here three times, and unfortunately, the lagman hasn’t been good the last two times. The flavor is not rich or authentic enough, and the noodles were overcooked. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I have no complaints about the service, staff is friendly, attentive, service is quick. However, the kitchen definitely needs some improvement, especially when it comes to the lagman.

  An absolute culinary gem! If you are looking for authentic, high-quality food, Turan Uyghur Kitchen is on another level entirely. ​The noodles and dumplings are absolute perfection—the taste is completely out of this world! You can immediately tell that everything is made with fresh, top-quality ingredients and prepared with genuine care. ​Beyond the incredible food, the restaurant itself is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and offers a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. Service is prompt and friendly, making the entire dining experience top-notch. If you haven't been here yet, you are truly missing out. Highly recommend!

  Food.is really good but this time around the customer service was at its worst. Qorma Chop and Chilli Laghman, dumplings, Goulash. These are really good. Where did that amazing lady go who used to be there. Instead there was a guy there (said he is the manager) who gave an impression that no one is welcome at this restaurant. Reply to owner comment: First of all, my comment in regards to customer service was not directed towards the incident about a dish missing the mark and us having to order another one because no one could eat it and us having to pay for it. As I mentioned, we were totally fine to pay for it (although we took a single bite from it and the dish was not "almost finsihed" as you put it. ) The comment about customer sevice was based on our overall observation. If customer has to repeatedly look for someone to place an order for or ask for check or make any other request even when rstaurqnt is completely empty, it doesnt feel very welcoming. Nevertheless, I will continue to come to this restaurant as I really like the food and wouldn't want to harm a business. I really hope the customer service can we worked on. Good Luck!
