  Tried the Toasted Yolk for lunch for the first time and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The restaurant feels open, roomy, and contemporary. We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Salad and the Southern Fried Arnold with fruit salad. The fried chicken coating was crunchy and flavorful. Both meals were fantastic. Our server was courteous and quick. Happy to have this place available for brunch or lunch.

  Had a yolkwich sandwich with no side and had to pay full price🙄 the wait was all right but the sticky floor in a restaurant is gross 🤢 I ordered a sunny side up egg that popped in the to go container which made the bottom bread soggy.

  Our family is visiting Katy, Tx and Toasted Yolk came recommended by family who lives in the area. The waitress was friendly, however, we were the only party in the whole restaurant the entire time and we didn’t get our food all together. Half of us got our food and then we had to wait for the rest of us to get our food for a while. This wasn’t so much of an issue, but the biggest issue was the smell of the establishment and menus. All of the menus smelled like spoiled milk and nearly made us leave right when we were seated. That alone set the tone for whole experience. It also felt like the air conditioning wasn’t working, making the smell of the place even worse. The food was okay, but by the time it came, we had already been trying not to think about the smell of the place. I guess since no one was in there when we got there, we should have taken that into consideration and left. However there were 8 of us and a baby. I wanted to leave a review because the smell of the menus and the establishment was bad enough to warn people. Although maybe people do know and that’s why the place was empty. We definitely will not be back to this one. The smell of the establishment is everything. Fix the yucky smell in there. Yikes!
