The food was absolutely amazing. 🔥
The steak was cooked perfectly medium-well, juicy and full of flavor. The shrimp were incredible, and the baked potato was outstanding. Everything was fresh, well presented, and the service was excellent. Definitely a place worth coming back to. 👏🏻🥩🍤

The food was fantastic!! Definitely checkout the smoked Mac n cheese because MAN was that so good eating 😂 The waiting list was very weird but maybe it’s because we came the last 2 hours of the night but idk 🤷🏾♀️
It was a great experience and my server was amazing even got to see an old classmate.
We took my mother-in-law out to Saltgrass Steak House for her birthday, and it ended up being a solid 4-star experience. The biggest issue was the seating; they originally tried to put our party of four at a tiny table that couldn't even fit our drinks and menus, much less the appetizers, bread, and four big entrees. I really don't think they should seat four people at a table that small, but at our request, they did let us move over to a booth which made things way better.
The food was definitely the best part, earning about 4.5 stars. I had the Maudeen’s steak with garlic truffle fries, and my wife got the chop steak. While the steak was great, the fries weren't quite as flavorful as I expected them to be. My mother-in-law and my father-in-law both really enjoyed their steak and fried shrimp too. The only real downside was that the portions could have been a bit bigger for what they charge. Overall, it was a good night and a successful birthday for my mother-in-law, so 4 stars is a pretty good score in my book.
I booked a reservation here last Friday for a business lunch with a team of 15. While there were some high points, the overall experience was a bit mixed for a professional outing.
The service was exceptional. Our waitress, Marie, was fantastic and very attentive, professional, and handled our large group with ease. We also really enjoyed the appetizers, which started the meal off on a high note.
They placed our group of 15 at four tables arranged in an "L" shape. It was a very awkward setup that made it difficult for the team to interact.
The music was unfortunately much too loud. We could barely hear each other speak, which isn't ideal for a business lunch.
I ordered the 12 oz. ribeye and was surprised by how thin the cut was and it wasn't hot when It came out.
It’s an okay restaurant, but due to the seating and noise level, I’ll likely look for a different venue the next time I’m hosting a lunch for our company.

We were in the Katy area today and decided to head to our usual go-to spot, Saltgrass Steak House, expecting a great dinner like always.
When we walked in, everything seemed fine. Our waiter was friendly and welcoming—but that’s about where the good experience ended.
To start, he took our bread board and never once asked if we wanted more. Not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable.
We both ordered Pat’s Ribeye—my wife got the 12 oz, and I ordered the 16 oz, both medium rare (as any steak lover would). When the food came out, my steak was decent—slightly undercooked but still juicy. My wife’s, on the other hand, was completely off. It looked more like a sirloin—dry and nowhere near medium rare.
We sent it back, and the kitchen manager came out. We explained the issue, but honestly, it didn’t seem like there was a clear understanding of what a proper medium rare ribeye should look like.
They said they’d remake it. I slowed down eating my meal, expecting her food to come out quickly since it was a mistake… but it didn’t. Instead, it seemed like her order got put back in line with everyone else’s.
By the time her new steak arrived, I was basically done eating. And unfortunately—it was still wrong. It again looked like a sirloin, had no juiciness, and when she cut into it, the inside was raw.
At that point, we were done.
I spoke with the main manager, and to his credit, he handled the situation well. He comped my wife’s meal (which she never ate anyway). Even the sweet potato wasn’t fully cooked.
But overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. This location seriously needs to reevaluate their kitchen staff.
The manager gave me a free appetizer card, but on the way out, I gave it to another family. We won’t be returning to this location.
P.S. It would go a long way if waiters were trained to notice when something on a plate clearly isn’t right.
