  My wife and I had just dropped our car off at a nearby repair shop and were looking for a Starbucks. Since the nearby Target wasn't open yet, we stopped at this Randalls because it has a Starbucks inside. We entered together, and while my wife went to use the restroom, I ordered our coffees and then walked toward the restroom area to wait for her. While standing there, an associate approached me and asked if I needed help. I politely explained that I was simply waiting for my wife to come out of the restroom. The associate then told me that I needed to wait near the Starbucks area by the front entrance because, according to her, my presence in that area early in the morning (7:35am) was making people uncomfortable. This was surprising and embarrassing, especially since the only people I saw nearby were store associates. I complied and moved back to the Starbucks area. While waiting, I noticed several female associates repeatedly looking at me, gathering nearby, and appearing to watch me while pretending to straighten merchandise or look for items. Whether intentional or not, I felt singled out, judged, and unwelcome. The entire situation made me extremely uncomfortable. I texted my wife and told her we needed to leave immediately. We left the store as soon as she finished, and as a result, we did not do any shopping there. I understand that employees have a responsibility to maintain a safe environment, but customers should not be made to feel suspicious or unwelcome simply for waiting for their spouse. This experience left me feeling unfairly targeted and embarrassed, and it was one of the most uncomfortable retail experiences I've had. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled in the future.

  This is a nice small store. Manages to have just about everything my wife wants. And the staff is always friendly. I have never liked the layout. But what am I going to do?

  I want to file a complaint about the service I received today. I decided not to complete my purchase because the lady at the register was rude to me, and as I was leaving, she even told me “go,” which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. This kind of treatment makes customers not want to return.

  Bought a bag of grapes from Randall's and discovered fly eggs and larvae while eating them. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This should never happen with produce being sold to customers. Very disappointed.
