  I first want to say the food is always excellent, I have been here 7 times and usually the service is amazing but tonight they fell way short. Which was too bad because I brought out of town family and raved about this place. Right off the bat we were not greeted. I had to go up to the girl (Somty) and ask do I just choose our own table? Also she was incredibly quiet and way too soft spoken to be a waitress. During the meal she never checked in on us once, my son wanted a water refill and never got a chance to ask for one. When we finished up the meal she still never checked on us and instead went to go sit down behind the counter. I walked over to her and asked for to-go boxes. After we packaged our food she never brought the bill, she once again went behind the counter to go sit down. I again had to get up and ask her how she would like us to pay. Not sure if this was her first night being a waitress but it should be her last unless she gets some training.

  The food was great, but unfortunately my whole family was very disappointed with the service. Our waitress did not check on us once during the meal, and we had to get up from the table twice once to ask for boxes and again to ask for the check. We also were not asked if we wanted refills on our water or anything else.When she did speak to us, it was very difficult to hear her because she was practically whispering while explaining the food that was coming out. At one point, she was sitting behind the counter on her phone instead of checking on the tables. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but the lack of attentiveness and communication made the experience disappointing.

  Our family tried HotBits tonight and what an AMAZING Indian restaurant it is. The masala chai tea was freshly prepared, the pakodas were the best we have had in any Indian restaurant in Houston and the food was superb. The service was very good and attentive. Justin, our server had amazing attention to detail and made our restaurant experience even more special. He went above and beyond in everything! This is a restaurant that we will definitely come back again and again.

  Most authentic and delicious Indian restaurant in the Houston area. We tried multiple dishes, drinks and desserts; every single one was amazing. Our server Justin was very friendly and informative! Definitely worth a visit and you will not be disappointed! We will absolutely be back

  After posting this, the owner personally called me and resolved the issue professionally. The refund was handled, and I appreciate the follow-up and communication. I’ve been a regular customer for a long time, and I plan to continue coming here as usual. Thank you to the owner for taking the time to address the situation immediately.
