  I’m very disappointed with this place. The customer service at the first step was extremely poor. The staff seemed rude, unfriendly, and visibly unhappy to help. I also felt that some people there looked down on others and treated them as if they were less important. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable. Personally, I didn’t enjoy my experience at all. The environment felt toxic,

  If Google let me give six stars, I’d give them all to the manager Daniela. My wife is 8 months pregnant, which means cravings strike with the force of a Marvel villain. We swung by for a quick food mission, and Daniela stepped in like the absolute HEB hero! She was kind, fast, and didn’t hesitate for a second when we needed a little extra help. Daniela didn’t just provide customer service, she delivered customer service greatness. Also, the spring rolls? Fresh enough to qualify as produce. Delightful!

  I had a very pleasant visit today the store is very clean with a wide variety of items. My cashier Breanna J was very nice and welcoming she even checked my fruit to make sure it’s good which I appreciate cause I’ve been to some stores that the fruit is bad so over all 10/10 experience I would definitely recommend this store!

  I came to this location on the morning of September 30, 2026, and I was assisted by Ms.Almaz at the cash register. Ms.Almaz was phenomenal!!! I needed to leave a few small items at register and run to quickly go get some bananas, and must say she was very kind and patient. Beautiful personality and provided me with excellent customer service. I give her 5 stars in all areas.

  This is a great store except for one thing. Mutti products. Mutti pasta sauce, imported from Italy is the #1 sauce sold in Italy. This H-E-B had it placed in the International Foods aisle for a long time but it wasn't really selling. The reason for this is because of placement. When shoppers look for pasta sauce they go to the sauce aisle and pick one. Simple, but if Mutti isn't there then it's not among their choices. I've mentioned this to store management on several occasions and they finally moved it to the sauce aisle and guess what happened? It started selling rather than sitting. The price has changed a lot over the last 6 months. Originally it was $5.98. Then, even though it wasn't selling in the other aisle, the price was raised to $6.98. Now, since relocating the stock, it's $7.33. Why? It's like H-E-B doesn't understand how to handle consumer product awareness and then discouraged shoppers from even trying it, which would then increase sales because that's how good it is. Aside from all of this, H-E-B Plus is no longer stocking Mutti bottled Passata or canned peeled, diced or crushed tomatoes as they had been before moving the sauces over to where they should've been in the first place. Photo for reference of Mutti products no longer available as a result of not being placed correctly and going unsold. At least the tomato paste is still available, now with all the others, appropriately. Rest assured though, at Central Market all the Mutti products are there and the sauces aren't overpriced, still $6.98.
