  I love shopping at this H-E-B because I can charge my car while shopping. Most of the employees are very friendly, and the store is clean and tidy. My only complaint is the self-checkout system. Today, I had to call an employee several times because the machine wouldn’t let me scan certain items, even when I entered the item codes manually. Sometimes, even after I scan an item and place it in the bagging area, the machine won’t let me scan the next item. It seems like the self-checkout machines may have a technical issue or bug that needs to be checked. I hope management can look into this and fix the problem. Overall, I enjoy shopping here, but improving the self-checkout experience would make it even better!

  HEB doesn't disappoint... Wednesday is a fresh fish day and my tuna poke bowl was amazing!

  I am in this HEB almost every other day. I went in this morning to look at their plants like I always do. I noticed (2) African Milk Trees planted with another succulent, but in both nursery pots the other succulent plants were dead. I seen the price for $6.00. Honestly I thought being that the other plant it is planted with is completely dead it has to be marked down. I get to the self check out and scanned the plant, it showed $6.00 regular price. I asked the clerk "who do I need to speak to regarding a discount on a plant". She calld a gentleman that was stocking the chips and he called Caroline. I'm guessing she's the morning manager. I was in the middle of explaining the dead plant and she cut me off by saying "if you're referring to a discount on the plants I can't " ok I said. I'm very familiar with the vendors they receive their plants from. One of them is The Brookwood Community in Brookshire, Tx and I know they definitely wouldn't want you selling a dead plant or half dead plant for full price. It was very rude of Caroline for cutting me off mid sentence. Home Depot, Lowes they even mark down plants if you bring it to their attention.
