    I always come to Chick-fil-A because my daughters and I enjoy the chicken and usually receive great customer service. That’s why today’s experience surprised me. Edwin at the drive-thru was excellent and handled my request well. However, when a damaged car blocked the line, I asked to a blonde lady who might be the manager how long it might take because my 4-year-old urgently needed the restroom. She responded from a distance, telling me to stay in my car and saying she didn’t know. After the car was moved, the same lady handed me the food without confirming the order or even acknowledging me. It felt dismissive and unlike the service I expect from Chick-fil-A. To make matters worse, the food had a smoky taste and unpleasant aftertaste. I understand holidays are busy, but situations like this should be handled better.

    Perfect!! Thank you! Update: On a different visit, I placed a pick up order on Saturday for breakfast at 10:15 am. Got there at 10:27, parked, pulled my phone out to check in. Checked in at 10:33 and the app canceled my order because it said they stopped surviving breakfast at 10:30. Even though I ordered before! I didn't want to be a Karen, so I left and went to jack n box, they serve breakfast all day. I called chick-fil-a to voice my concern and the person on the phone stated: "we are so sorry that happened to you, next time pull through the drive through and let us know, we are happy to accommodate breakfast orders until 11 on SATURDAYS!!" So FYI, next time just ask. You're not a karen!! Love this place. Was sad to miss it that morning.

    There seems to be a serious Lack of Diversity at the Katy location, Hwy 99 at Morton Ranch. Address: 2826 W Grand Pkwy N, Katy, TX location! The Hiring Managers are not being fair! Been coming to this location for 8 years when you saw every age and ethnicities (Caucasian, African American, Mixed race Hispanic, Asian and etc.) from teens to seniors who were all friendly and said the "my pleasure"' phrase from the drive thru to dine in. Unfortunately, things have changed within the last two years. Everyone looks the same all Hispanic. I have kids and am very active in the local community and schools. The neighborhood teens have and ongoing saying "Chick-fil-A on Morton Ranch does not hire other races, especially Black or White youth" or elderly. I am not racist but I do know that several kids who were leaders at school, straight A's with customer service skills did not get hired from those "group" interview sessions. The current staff, some are nice but some have English language barriers, if you ask for customizations and they never say "my pleasure" or use greetings that align with the overall company and what you see on the commercials/media. I hope the corporate office reads this review as I've already messaged my observation on the company website. Chick-fil- A, DO BETTER!! It doesn't matter the race but the dynamic of this location does not mirror it's community of diverse people. Also, on several occasions, my order was wrong, missing food, or poor temperature. Some staff were unapologetic and treated everything like it was a non issue.
