  First and foremost " Thank you chef Jessie for your excellence in maintaining great food. I have been eating a Babin's over 15yrs. Now retired my senior group visits. Again Thank you BABIN'S/ JESSIE. Last but not lease. The staff is friendle and always check many times to see if anything is needed. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

  On Oct 1 2026 the food was spectacular, the server Joscelyn was superb, and the manager John was professional and attentive to the customers needs. Today 10/7 the zydeco pasta and seafood platter was bland and service was mediocre .

  Well, we sat down and waited for a bit longer than 20 min and not one server came to our table. We got up to leave and told the host about our issue and they sorry so we left. Im sure its not like that all the time but for our first time going it was very disappointing.

  Bar tender was just worthless. And was pushy and like it was interfering with her gossip with fellow workers. 10/2/26 time 3:31pm . Never offered lunch menu and just main menu . I guess to ring up a bigger ticket for her schedule. Had to stop her to get a beer . Service just was overall bad.

  My Landry's review timeline ran out before I could get to it....so you get this. If I get upset during a visit, 1 star it is. May not be back for a long time, some of this has been going on for decades. I don't have these issues at Floyd's or BB's.....sorry. Pros: had blackened grouper, was tasty and well cooked. Shrimp nachos special was pretty good. Seafood pasta was tasty. Bread/butter good. Bread pudding was excellent as always. Cons: Server was new and slow for most of the meal. Had to wave her down alot. We asked her what someone was eating at a different table and she had to ask the table :). GF ordered i think a lemonade and got some sort of strawberry concoction. I order a beer and it enraged me. $5.75 for a luke cold Miller Lite. Man things don't change, i can't tell you have many luke cold beers i have sent back at this establishment. This is a decades, yes decades, old problem. Cold Beer = More Sales, why can't they figure this out at this restaurant. Ordered a Caeser salad to start and it got delivered after our entree. Insult to injury, the salad tasted like crap, no anchovy/Caesar taste at all. The onceuponachef recipe blows this away, maybe mimic it. The kitchen manager came out to recognize the delay issue, apologized, and offered a free dessert. My plate had dirty rice and it wasn't very dirty. Barely any meat or flavor, i closed my eyes while eating and it was brown rice taste. Thats all I can remember for now. I've been upset at this place so many times I think it is time to call it quits. See you in a few years when i forget about this...... And no i'm not going to contact you further. Have a manager hang out at the door asking exiting patrons if they had a five star experience today?
