It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Took 30min to get cold food. The lady with short dreads was rude and clearly didn’t want to be there.

We had to wait twenty minutes for the food. Asked for chicken sandwiches to not be spicy. They were spicy. We were told they had to cook fries. Ours were old, cold and the scraps. Worst food I've ever had from that location. Waste of my money. Had to throw it in the trash.

We sat in drive-thru after we ordered for the car in front of us almost 10 mins. They hand us our food and the fries were almost ice cold. We took them back in the store and the provided us some nice hot fries right away. We drive home about 10 minutes away and the burger we brought was ice cold cheese not even melted a little bit. Also the double cheese burger traditionally dressed is sooo nasty. It tasted like card board with toppings. The first time we ate at this location the food was equally disappointing 5 years ago. Tonight was our second attempt to allow whataburger impress my husband and I. We will not be back.

I just left there approximately. 30 min. Ago. First the order was all messed up. She didn’t get it right and asked if I could repeat 3 times and it was still wrong. Went to the window, paid, the order was incorrect, so she placed the order again. I was asked to pull up. The burger was cold when he handed it to me. Get home , in Jasper, not what I paid for. The burger was to be double meat with cheese and bacon.paid for. Went home it was thrown together, single meat. But I paid for a double. The tomatoes were too ripe, the lettuce was withered, you couldn’t eat it. I understand when in training, but someone experienced should be there too. Your food cost too much money to be treated this way. I will let all my friends and my patients know how bad the service is.
