My friend & I visited the Sonic Drive-In location off of I-35, in Jarrell last night. I have to say, I haven't ever had the greatest with any of my visits here but by far this one was the absolute worst experience! It was a very simple order! It included two slushy drinks. Not only did we wait quit a while for it to come out, but when it did, they had the order wrong. When I said something about it, and showed that even the receipt was wrong, she took them back & returned with the exact same slushy, but remade. So, again I said it was wrong, confirmed again & she said she would go talk to the manager. The manager came out and I advised what the issue was. She was prompt to tell me that she would refund the previous ticket with the two slushies and then redo a ticket for new slushies. In which, at this point was quite aggravating considering that I had verbalized the correct order from the beginning and didn't understand what the big problem was because it wasn't anything outside of what was being advertised on the menu. To add to the frustration at this point, the car hop returned to the car to let us know that the price increased to be approximately $2/3 total more. Even though the car hop had the receipts in the card in her hand along with the drinks on her carrier, she advises that she has to run the card for the new price before she can give us the drinks returns to The patio payment window, runs the card and then returns with the prior receipt refund the new receipt total and paid and then handed us our drinks turned away and abruptly walked away. It was unacceptable situation, they attitudes were very rude. To top it off, what she had the card in hand already did she really think that we were going to like drive off and steal the slushies or something? How offensive!! Not to mention, they both were again wrong on the receipt.
I do have receipts, names of carhop & manager on duty. I plan to provide this feedback with a direct complaint regarding this location.
