  There was absolutely no customer service. The worker in front didn't greet us at all. And didn't check make sure my order was correct. 8 didn't receive my chips with the sandwich

  I think her name is Yody. She was very pleasant, answer my questions with a smile, very patient and always with a smile. It was my first time visiting she used my name multiple times. Great service

  The honeymoon is over. Went here a few weeks ago and became violently ill the very next day. This was the only thing that I had eaten prior to getting sick, and the taste of "bile-becue" as I was "refunding" this mess was pretty obvious. No more of my money is going to this. If you are in need of a good episode of projectile vomiting, this may be the place for you. The city's health department has been contacted.

  I stopped in to get lunch. I have never been here before. I got the 2 meat plate with drink for $24. The potato salad is possibly the worst I have ever had. It tastes like potatoes with some plain mayo with no seasonings. There is no mustard here to add to give it some taste. I tried adding pickles for the second bite….not much improvement. The Cole slaw is similarly not great. Not much seasoning although it is better than the potato salad. Brisket is dry. Pork sausage is good. Overall….needs improvement.

We understand that it’s a busy grocery store with a restaurant-style ordering counter, so we appreciate that employees need to keep orders organized. > > That said, our interaction at the counter could have been handled with better customer service. When my wife approached, the cashier immediately asked, “Can I get a name for the order?” As she began placing her order, she was interrupted and asked again, more sharply, for a name. My wife was not trying to be rude—she simply began ordering before realizing the name was needed first. > > The request itself was completely reasonable, but the tone came across as impatient and unwelcoming. A friendly explanation, smile, or simple “May I get a name first so I can start your order?” would have made a big difference. Thankfully, it did not ruin her experience, because she loves H-E-B. We just hope the team can receive a little additional customer-service training so every guest feels welcomed and respected.
