We have gotten rotten meat from this place. The meat Reeked of a stank smell. Also, there is a bunch of old and rotten things in their freezer, which they pay no attention to. They literally have a reputation for not getting rid of bad things and trying to sell them to people — I’ve heard this from other people in the community as well. They don’t care even when you tell them that their food is bad. For example, we got frozen pre-made chicken, which you microwave and eat and when we microwave it, it came out with holes in it, and the texture was terribly disgusting. I took pictures of it and asked ChatGPT what is going on and they said most likely it was defrosted and then frozen again and also it was expired the year before I believe. My spouse then went to Texas came to tell them what happened and they did not give a refund.
When you walk into this place for the first time, it kind of looks cool. There’s a restaurant there’s a grocery store and there’s a butcher shop however, when you spend just a little amount of time there and you do a little bit of investigation, you realize it is nothing close to what you thought it was. #disappointment
Chicken Tikka Pizza is Awesome. It’s real taste and good in size. Really like it. That’s why I am giving it five stars.

We had such a great experience at Texas king. We ordered Nihari, malai tikka, and naan. It was so so good. malai tikka was super soft and flavourful. Nihari was so good too. Loved the naan, it was so fresh and soft. Food tasted like home cooked.
Been coming here for 15 years. Excellent food , always consistent. Quality is great with quantity to price ratio is outstanding.
Visited around 4:30 pm on this labors day weekend Sunday … this restaurant is located inside a grocery store, and the venue is surprisingly spacious. The vibe is total cheerful Pakistani decor and lighting really nice ambience!
It took quite some time for them to get my order placed, but once ordered, everything came pretty quickly. Within 10–12 mins, we got piping hot chicken seekh kebab and mutton kebab, sizzling on the plate with an amazing aromatic smell. It was well done, flavorful, soft, juicy, and had the perfect blend of spices.
Then came the biriyani … very decent portion size with 2–3 chicken pieces. Pakistan-style biriyani, fluffy, moist and super flavorful, with well-cooked chicken and perfectly balanced masala.
Their gyro sandwich is on point with the right combo of protein and veggies with white sauce. The chicken roll was also super soft, juicy, nicely spiced and delicious. We actually ordered another seekh kebab because it was that tempting! 😋
The chicken tandoori tikka leg quarters were also worth the price well cooked, juicy and still retained the moisture.
Very nice service, food served on time, healthy and hot. Ambience is 10/10! They also have a decent-sized masjid where more than 70 people can pray, which is a great addition.
Only thing they could work on is the restrooms they are average and look a little old.
Must-visit place! We were honestly surprised by the prices and the variety. It’s hard to find this much variety for around $40.
One of the best options for anyone looking for good food at a decent price with lots of choices. And their biriyani is probably one of the most affordable around!
Definitely worth a visit! ❤️
