As long as Po Melvin's has been in business, you would think that they would take pride in providing a nice clean updated restaurant for their customer's to sit down and enjoy a nice meal. All the seats needs to be replaced and the booths have torn seats with black duct tape holding it together. The floor was also old and needs to be replaced. People come because the food is good, but the atmosphere needs a lot of improvement. The food is too good for this place to look the way it does inside and it's somewhere I wouldn't recommend to dine in at.

Wonderful food! As good as my Mom’s! The vegetables were delicious, and the roast was exceptionally good. Very happy with my food and my delivery - very sweet delivery person.

I want to take a moment to give a heartfelt thank you to the owner of Po Melvin’s. ❤️ My sister was sitting in the car waiting for my mom while she was inside getting the food we ordered. The owner noticed my sister in the car and checked that she had been helped. After learning she was on dialysis, out of the kindness of his heart, offered her a complimentary meal. That gesture truly touched me. It wasn’t simply about receiving a free meal—it was the fact that he noticed her, showed compassion, and went out of his way to do something kind for someone he didn’t even know. Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can mean the most, especially when someone is going through something difficult. I am genuinely grateful that my sister was shown that level of thoughtfulness and care. Thank you to the owner of Po Melvin’s for your generosity, compassion, and kind heart. Please know that your gesture did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. ❤️
