  Went in last night for four pizzas and left with a reminder that good people still run restaurants. My usual extra marinara showed up looking suspiciously like regular marinara, and the veggie pizza arrived dressed as plain cheese. I brought them back in, and the manager, Jeremiah, was kind and apologetic the whole way through. He told me he’d already called my wife to say they were short on a couple toppings, listed the vegetables they did have, and when I asked if we could just do all of those, he said certainly. Both pies were remade quickly. My little brother is visiting from South America, where Pizza Hut like this isn’t really a thing, spotted the Cinnabon, and had clearly never met one. I asked the cashier if we could buy it. She checked with Jeremiah and came back with “don’t worry, it’s on the house.” We’ll keep coming back. Anytime the family wants pizza, this is the place. Jeremiah, thank you. That visit reminded me of what it felt like to go to Pizza Hut as a kid 30 years ago.

  Cue me: hungry. Want pizza. Boom, Pizza Hut. Order placed at 4:57 PM. Estimated pickup: 15 minutes. Then comes the notification: “Your order is ready.” I arrive and somehow nobody knows where my order is. Ten minutes later they finally produce it, except it’s missing an entire pizza, breadsticks, and cinnamon sticks. At 5:30 I’m told they’ll make the missing items “right away.” 5:50: still nothing. I ask again. Response: essentially, “Who are you?” I ask for a refund. Apparently only the manager can perform this mystical ritual. Manager appears and promises, again, to make the food “right away.” 6:10: still nothing. I ask the manager where my order is. Manager: “Who are you?” At that point, after 73 minutes, two missing-food promises, and apparently being erased from everyone’s memory every 20 minutes, I gave up on Pizza Hut pizza and demanded my money back. Absolutely impressive operation. The Papa Johns we got is pretty legit though, you guys should try it, or try actually making pizza.

  Order food online.....went to pickup order was out of pizza dough..customer service was horrible and I left without food but I was credited back to my account
