You never realize how great your HEB is until you travel. I love the folks and the service at the Hutto HEB.

Visiting my granddaughters coming from the (Valley) Edinburg to Celebrate her birthday 🎂 🥳 need to buy some decorations to put around her room so, when she wakes up it'll be a surprise.

Disappointed in the self checkout approach I received. I had 2 small separate Instacart orders. One with 3 items and the second with 10. I’m aware sco is express and for 10 items or less. The sco host approached me and told me she would help me and started scanning my items on her own without asking me and until I stopped her and told her it was two separate orders. She saw my phone and the 2 orders I had. She apparently didn’t like that I was using the sco and told me that sco is an express lane for 10 items or less and that I couldn’t use it next time and that I would need to go to a regular register. Didn’t seem like it was a big deal since it was a small order I was taking care of on my own and not a full basket. Didn’t like her approach telling me she would help me and started scanning items on her own without asking me first. And really didn’t like the fact she told me I couldn’t use sco and would be sent away next time. A different approach would have been nicer.

I popped into the store today after work to pick up food to grill tonight and a few other things. I used the HEB GO app to speed up my checkout, taking the time to scan my items as I put them in the cart so I could skip the checkout lines entirely since I prefer to self bag at my vehicle. But this time I found the express Go lane has been eliminated and I had to wait for a long line of self checkout folks instead. Totally not worth scanning everything myself if it's not saving me time. HEB, if you don't want GO customers, eliminate the program entirely, not just the express lane. It just makes people go to another store from now on either way

Shopping here has become frustrating because curbside employees with large carts constantly block aisles and make it hard to access products. While I understand the demand for curbside, it feels like in-store shoppers are being overlooked—there’s rarely enough staff to help or assist with bagging. The store has great products, but the overall experience has gotten more stressful.
