Had a wonderful experience at City Hall Cafe for dinner tonight! Our server, Kiera, was so nice, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Situated near historic downtown, this cozy eatery serves up hearty lunch sandwiches, fresh salads, and decadent home-style pies. Loaded quiches, savory paninis, and daily soup specials share the menu with sweet fruit and cream pie slices. Rustic farmhouse decor, soft light, and warm service make for a sweet stop.

I come in here multiple times a month. I Ioved this place. No more. Today I came in and there were 4 young ladies standing at the counter. As soon as I walked up they all went to the back. When the girl came back I respectfully mentioned this. After that I was treated with scowls. All but one of these girls was rude and disrespectful. I guess thats what happens in 2026 with today's youth. Now I can hear them back there laughing about it. Customer service is truly dead. They may not care, but hopefully management will about losing $150 a month.

Well decorated building and we were seated immediately. The good report ends there. Even though it was not crowded by the time we got there around midday on Sunday, the service times were unacceptable. It took a long time to get drinks. Then, we were able to make a food order that took nearly an hour to arrive at the table. When the food did arrive, it looked like it had been under a heat lamp for quite a while because the top of everything was dried and the fries had cooled and shriveled. While the meat, including the bourbon, pork chop and the chicken fried chicken was excellent, the length of wait and the condition of the sides, made it far less enjoyable. The floor was very sticky. I do understand not wanting to clean in front of customers, but if there has been a spill, you have to make an exception. Then, we made a mistake of ordering pie. It was brought to us in small heaps instead of slices. It was also older. You could tell that it had been sitting in the display case for quite a while before it was served. Each one of these times of service was extremely lengthy even though there were only four other tables in the restaurant occupied by the time we left. This was probably the second worst service I’ve ever received at a restaurant and close to the bottom for food quality. “The other” home-cooking restaurant blows this one away.
