  I am giving this H-E-B one star due to the poor management and customer service I experienced. I have purchased whole red snapper from this location multiple times in the past and have always requested that the fish be cleaned, which includes removing the scales and guts. On June 21, 2026, I visited this same H-E-B and ordered two red snappers. When I requested that the fish be cleaned, the employee in the seafood department told me that they do not provide that service. Knowing that this service had been performed for me at this location on several previous occasions, I was disappointed and felt that I was not being given accurate information. As a result, I chose not to purchase the fish. After leaving, I contacted the store manager because I did not want other customers to have a similar experience. I believe the manager’s name was Brandon. Unfortunately, his response was equally disappointing. After explaining the situation, he simply stated that he would follow up with the department. There was no apology, no concern for the inconvenience, and no effort to resolve the issue. A professional manager would have acknowledged the poor experience, apologized, and offered a solution, such as ensuring the fish would be cleaned if I returned. It is concerning that an employee potentially providing inaccurate information about store services was treated so casually. Customer concerns should be taken seriously, especially when they involve inconsistent service and employee accountability. Due to the lack of customer service and poor management response, I will no longer be shopping at this location.

  I am SERIOUSLY considering moving to Houston just so I can shop at H*E*B!!!! I LOVE THIS STORE!!! They have everything!!!! Picked up some prepared food items and they were delicious!! Picked up a few items to take back home and they were delicious when I fixed them.

  I love coming to HEB. We’re basically here at least bi-weekly to stock up on the essentials and especially now that the kids are home on Summer break. We are on a first name basis with a couple of the employees lol. That tells you how much we frequent here. Nothing but the best experience each time! It’s the only place we shop for our food. Fresh meats, baked goods and the best southern hospitality in the community.
