- MSMichael SitesJun 26, 20265.0We love the H E B. My mother-in-law always said that HEB stands for Hispanics eat better. Hahaha she may be right. Attached as a picture of a turkey breast that I bought there and smoked. The family seemed to love the turkey.

I even said that it was my impression that H-E-B employees were supposed to come from a place of yes and that the customer was always right. I also said I thought we were smack in the middle of Texas where people are supposed to be friendly and nice. She was full of no and seemed to enjoy saying it. Furthermore, when I was leaving and told Joyce and her manager I was planning to leave a negative review, her manager (a female) said,”I hope you do.”

The HEB products are top tier, especially the tortillas, and their floral department is legendary. My only complaint is the traffic. Get ready to be a sardine, and good luck parking your big truck, it's a parking lot nightmare.

I was in there just yesterday and was in need of a couple of tomahawk steaks. They didn't have any out but got me two fresh cut wrapped up and on my way in less than 10 minutes.
