I LOVE HEB. Only downside is parking, but that’s expected when they are an amazing grocery store. If you go before they open or an hour before they close it’s not so crowded.

There's zero reason not to accept WIC at self checkouts in the modern era. All your competitors have this figured out lol. Feel bad for the pregnant women and moms you're embarrassing with this

We were in HEB a few weeks ago and my daughter saw a showcase cake that she wanted for her birthday. I asked the bakery if they could make another one in a few weeks for her birthday. They said yes and I even printed off a picture and brought it in. The cake I received is awful. It’s half the size but nearly the same price as the showcase cake. It looks like a five year made this cake.

An experience worth sharing. We stopped in here to take cover from the storms as we were passing through. It was a long day for us we were just tryin to make it home. The employees were so friendly and kind but one stood out. A red headed young man I believe his name was Sean. He noticed how scared and exhausted my little girl was and he says to her.. "do you know what makes everything better? Icecream. Would you like some?" she agreed and he offered to buy her any ice cream she wanted. Not only did he brighten her day but we also shared with other kids waiting out the storm so he put a smile on more that one kids face in a scary moment. So Thank you HEB and thank you Sean for your kind heart.

My family and I have been shopping here since 2020, the Glanville Family. The little Filipino lady with the two beautiful girls. We've spent thousands here and haven't shopped anywhere else for our groceries. We've made tons of friends with some of the staff! Great staff, friendly, helpful(I'm tiny so I have to ask for help to reach items off the top shelf)! 🤣 Just today I forgot to get a live basil plant so I tried to go out with the cart and I didn't know it would lock up and wasn't trying to take groceries without paying. I would NEVER, but after that silly innocent mistake the male Hispanic manager profiled me and just got weird vibes from him after! Sir I'm an American Filipino and not a stereotype. I was born and raised in the USA and will defend her and kids with my life. I am not the one you should worry about. Very rude of him but at the same time I do understand.
